New Clients
We require meet and greets for any new clients before we can provide service. Please contact us with enough advance notice so that we can compare schedules and find a time that works for you and your care providers. This allows us the opportunity to answer any of your questions, review the usual routine and begin a great rapport with your pet(s). It is extremely helpful if you have a duplicate key ready before the meeting.
Minimum Care for Pet Sit Services
We want your pets to have the best possible care. Through our combined experience as professional pet care providers we are most comfortable with the following minimum care:
- Our canine clients should have the opportunity to get outside for potty breaks and some exercise at least 3 times a day with no more than 9-10 hours in between visits. We ask that at least one of these visits per day be a 35 minute drop-in so that we have the time to feed them and make sure that they are not experiencing any separation anxiety while you are away.
- Our feline clients should have at least one visit per day. A cat’s health can decline very quickly. We prefer to be able to monitor their food and water intake and general well being to catch any signs of illness or distress as soon as possible. If you have an indoor/outdoor cat, we would prefer to keep them indoor only while we care for them.
Scheduling
- We ask that all walks or runs be requested by 3pm the day before so that we have time to finalize the schedule and allow our team to view it by 6pm. This gives everyone the time needed to prepare in advance and plan the day appropriately to offer all of our four legged clients the specialized individual attention that they deserve. Should you have need of a last minute addition after 3pm, the $10 urgent need fee will apply.
- Please give us 48 hours notice to reserve a sitter for any Drop-In Pet Sit service. Should you need Drop-In Care with less than 48 hours notice the $10 urgent need fee will be added to the first two days of service.
- Please allow at least 6 days to reserve a sitter for Overnight Care. Should you need Overnight Care with less than 6 days notice the $10 urgent need fee will be added for each day of service.
Cancellation Policies
We understand that unexpected surprises happen sometimes. Should you ever need to cancel a confirmed service, these are the time limits and rates that will apply:
- Daily walks and runs will be charged at full rate if cancelled after 3pm the day prior to the scheduled service.
- Drop-In Pet Sitting services will be charged at 100% of the total once the service has begun and 50% of the total if cancelled with less than 48 hours notice of the start date.
- Overnight Care will be charged at 100% of the total if cancelled with less than 3 days notice of the start date and 50% if cancelled with less than 6 days notice of the start date.
Holidays
A $20 holiday fee will be applied for any services scheduled over the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
